YieldShares LLC is an ETF Sponsor focused on income investing. The firm seeks to expand access to unique income investment strategies through ETFs.
YieldShares believes that thoughtful income investing begins with diversification. That diversification should be implemented across a variety of asset classes, investment strategies and investment vehicles.
In 2013, YieldShares partnered with the International Securities Exchange (ISE) to develop an investment strategy-based index called the ISE High Income™ index. This index was designed to capture high current income from a professionally selected portfolio of closed-end funds. YieldShares’ first ETF - YYY - will seek to track, before fees and expenses, the ISE High Income™ index.
Christian Magoon is Founder and CEO of YieldShares. An ETF veteran, Christian has launched over 50 ETFs in the United States to date. He has helped drive the adoption of ETFs by U.S. investors through numerous educational efforts highlighting the efficiency, transparency and flexibility of the ETF vehicle.
Previously, Magoon served as President of Claymore Securities (now Guggenheim Investments). He led product development, marketing and distribution of ETFs, unit investment trusts and closed-end funds. Christian launched Claymore’s ETF business in 2006 and it became one of the fastest growing and most innovative ETF Sponsors in the industry.
In early 2010, Christian formed Magoon Capital LLC. The firm provides strategic insight on ETF product development and marketing to asset managers around the world. Christian continues to serve as CEO of Magoon Capital today.
